APHRODITE, LEOPOLD, ELF, BOUNCE, TICKLE AND MEATBALL
November 7th December 26th 2004
My second group was exciting, a mother (teenaged and unwed) and her five kittens.
I had a lot of fun with them, but they were also the group with which I experienced my first loss, which was very hard.
Altogether the first day.
I only had Meatball for a week before Fading Kitten Syndrome took him. He was my favorite.
Leopold the naughty kitten, in jail.
The big mother cat is Aphrodite, then from left to right, Bounce, Elf, Tickle and Leopold.
I've always thought this looked like a Calvin Klein ad for kittens.
In no time at all they grew up.
Although they stayed adorable.
The last time we were all together. The two grey ones (Bounce and Tickle) were adopted together a day after I took them to the shelter. The two brown tabbies (Elf and Leopold) took a little longer, and I brought them home for Christmas, but before New Years they were adopted together.
